Your instructor
Hi, I'm Gea
I've been a driving instructor since 1989 and the proud owner of Rijschool One Way since 2004. Traffic has always been my passion, and I love working with young adults.
No two students are the same, so I look for the approach that works for you, in English or in Dutch. That way you make big steps towards your licence, and we have a good time along the way.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Can I take all my driving lessons in English?+
Yes. Gea gives lessons in English from your very first lesson to your exam. You can switch to Dutch whenever you like.
Can I take the driving exam in English?+
The CBR practical exam is in Dutch, but you can take it with an interpreter. Gea helps you prepare for this and explains how it works.
Can I use a foreign driving licence in the Netherlands?+
That depends on the country that issued it. Some licences can be exchanged, others can't, in which case you need a Dutch licence. Check with the RDW, or ask Gea for advice.
How many lessons will I need?+
That differs per person. That's why you start with a one-hour assessment lesson (€ 65), after which Gea advises the package that suits you.
Do you pick me up?+
Yes, from home, school or campus in Groningen, Hoogezand, Haren, Veendam, Winschoten and the villages nearby.
What if I need to cancel a lesson?+
Cancel at least 24 hours in advance. Lessons cancelled later have to be charged.
